Above in the sky was nothing but the night sky but what no one knew was that a man was driving his newly obtained lancer.

Odin looked to be wearing a pilots suit as he rode his new vehicle. The lancer descended and rode above the street but no one noticed not because of the reality-warping ability that came from the Baphomet gene serum.

But from the lancer and suits optical camouflage. The lancer was used by the proto-black guard on luna one of the 56 companies of the shadow legion.

The proto-black guard was well known during the major war of the 21-22nd century being created in 2098. They were known to be lightly armed at the most carrying a single grenade in case they failed. They mainly did information gathering and hostage extraction for both luna and earth.

During the near end of the war, they started to appear in public using lancers equipped with auto-targeting autocannons. The lancers had a small warp drive which later one would be discontinued and used for instant travel using spatial compressors.

Unlike the compressor that moved two spots in space together making the distance zero and allowing one to instantly make their way to the destination. The warp drive moved space instead of the vehicle allowing faster than light travel without breaking the old laws of physics.

The lancer and the suits that came with them had inbuilt optic camouflage and signal disrupters used against the rouge A.I. One of the many misconceptions people had when hearing about the A.I war was that humanity would be scared of A.I and would not use it or if they did a very simplified version of it.

That would be logical as it was the cause of the erasure of Canada and most of Europe except for Poland and Germany. But humanity quickly learned that they did not even create and A.I they just made a machine that went rouge.

By 2103 A.I had been improved based on real humans and they helped their creators speed up their development giving birth to the true age of the singularity. The entire vehicle was controlled by a general intelligence that slowly bonded with its driver.

From living in caves to artificial lifeforms it took only 2.6 million years and from 2103A.D to 173,699A.D they controlled the universe even creating some of their own.

It could have been faster if not for the 13 apocalypses, the sentinel war, the eradication of Andromeda, and that time they eradicated an entire sector because a child said chuck Norris didn exist.

Odin was currently in Europe why you ask well he needed help so he was going to ask a sage for some but he didn want to be known in the American community. If he kept asking the sages in America and one of them blabbed they might connect the dots and find out they got scammed.

So he would do it to Europes sages as he had no attachment other than Poland for some reason. The trip was actually quite short taking only half an hour it could have been faster if Odins GPS didn malfunction and send him south.

Nonetheless, he made his way to good old Amsterdam. Driving for a few more seconds he had arrived at his location a giant skyscraper which was actually a dojo. Odin parked and got off the lancer which stayed invisible Odin made his way into the building and went up the emergency stairs.

Ive realized that most sages do not lock their doors. Odin said as he easily entered the top floor.

The room was luxurious, to say the least having historical paintings and ancient antiques. Odin made his way around the floor searching for his helper. After going through almost the entire floor he had found no one heading to the last room he heard the sounds of groaning.

But before Odin could leave the sage to his own devices a large man was thrown out of the room. Odin looked at the unconscious man and realized he knew the man.

He was the youngest grandmaster being only 37 when he became grandmaster when others made it in their late 60s. Odin became curious and looked at the now opened door and saw an old man fighting seven men singlehandedly.

Even though he was feeding them off it was clear he was getting tired. Odin started to think before making his choice and sneakily taking out the men.

Of course what he meant by sneakily was taking the unconscious grandmasters knife and starting to slice the mens heels. Of course, the surprise didn last for long as after the second man fell the group became alerted to the new presence in the room.

Odin had prepared and started his old venerable immortal act.
