The Guide of Another Shop

During the day, in the settlement area. A woman sits on the roof of one of the houses. Her gaze looks far into the horizon. The laughter of children could be heard from below. But the womans mind was full of many things. It left her unable to enjoy the laughter and the results of the rescue mission she had just completed.

The woman, Rosalina, had just learned the truth of her system.

As if the world was joking, the system that was given to her was in fact not an almighty cheat. Far from it, the system was apparently just an ordinary human. An ordinary office worker.

And whats even more surprising. The person who became her system was the student she had saved. The incident that made her move to Etheria.

Rosalina seemed to be in the middle of a game of fate. God or whatever almighty up there, was probably laughing and enjoying watching Rosalina and Theos show.

The woman thought she was stupid. It took a long time for the system to wake up, anticipating the power she could have, and the results... not disappointing... just a little funny.

Can she return to the original world with Theos help? Rosalinas doubts grew.

Now Rosalina understands why the rewards she gets from the system are only everyday items. Even the majority is food and drink. Not a weapon or anything else that can strengthen her instantly.

Turns out, they were all Theos belongings. Items purchased by pocket money from the man.

Learning about Theos profession, of course Rosalina realized that the man wouldn be able to buy things like weapons. Guns aren cheap. Rosalina can ask Theo to buy it.

Theo has a life of his own. If Rosalina complains and asks for a lot of things, she feels like a freeloader.

Really, Rosalina starts to hesitate to ask Theo for help again. She didn feel comfortable making that man finance her adventures in Etheria. Even though Theo himself had stated that he would help Rosalina on her journey.
